In order to encourage innovation and promote the application of new technologies, China regulatory authorities set up special approval channels for innovative medical devices to ensure the safety and efficacy of medical products. For innovative medical devices that have been examined and approved by special procedures, priority should be given, and communication with applicants should be strengthened. The prioritize process via green channel will greatly benefit innovative medical device manufacturer to obtain CFDA approval.

Tiger Lifescience conducted “Hospital Acquired Infection Prevention Solution” Prof Ed training in China leading hospitals：Peking Union Medical College Hospital（Beijing Xiehe Hospital) and People's Liberation Army General Hospital (301 Hospital)

Tiger Lifescience conducted training seminar for ICU doctors and nurses in China 301 hospital on pathophysiology of catheter-related infection and on how to prevent and control CRBSI. Also, We shared what US Medicare did in HAC reduction program and what is the guidelines for the prevention of Catheter-Related infections in adult and pediatric patients.

Three product lines are successfully listed in FDA including CRBSI preventive devices for adults and children, umbilicus catheter protector for infants, wound care products for minimal invasive surgeries both for adults and children, neonatal umbilicus protector, etc. 

Most of our devices are class I devices and 510K exempted.

We took part in the China trip organized by UCAHP (US-China Association of High-level Professionals) during Apr 20-27. In this trip we visited several high tech parks and incubators in Suzhou, Shanghai, Jiashan, Hangzhou, and Nanjing, took part in the Nanjing Overseas Scholars Exchange Conference attended by more than 3200 Chinese overseas scholars all over the world and learned more about the endeavor of Chinese government to attract worldwide talents and technologies to China. We also met with startups and established enterprises in China and discussed the market penetration and cooperation opportunities.

We took part in the May Flower trip to China organized by TechCode during Apr 11-15 together with the founders of nine silicon valley startups. The purpose of this trip is mainly to know more about the China policies entrepreneurial environments regarding healthcare industry and high-tech industry in Beijing and adjacent areas. We visited the TechCode headquarter in Beijing Zhongguancun and several industrial parks in Gu'An, Xianghe and Dachang District,  around Beijing city in Hebei province. Each industrial park is a new town and focuses in different industries. We also pitched our projects to the Chinese investors and received much attention.

We took part in the MDM West 2016 in Anaheim, CA from Feb 8th to Feb 12th. The MDM West is the largest expo of medical design and manufacturing in west coast. We explored the event and found some potential contract manufacturers in the medical industry.

Tiger Lifescience won the class A prize from Jiaxing, China government as Leader for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the project of "Innovation Jiaxing, Elite Leaders". The project is sponsored by Chinese government to foster innovation and entrepreneurship and attract overseas scholars to go back China. Our Project, Disruptive CRBSI (Catheter Related Blood Stream Infection) Prevention and Control Device won the 1st Prize (Class A award) in thousands of projects.  This award will greatly facilitate our expansion to China market.

We took part in the 1st Young Leadership Forum in Health in Harvard University and introduced our innovative project of CRBSI prevention and control to resolve the unmet clinical needs of catheter related infection. Our project won the 2nd prize in the Youth Startup Contest of US-China Healthcare Summit one month ago in Beijing. 

​Tiger Lifescience won the Excellent Award at the DemoHealth Innovation Competition in Beijing, China. DemoHealth is a Healthcare industry-specialized group comprising the most innovative companies, renowned venture capitalists, government officials from CFDA and High-tech Parks,  etc. The series of DemoHealth innovation and entrepreneurship competitions represents the trend of healthcare industry in China.

Tiger Lifescience won the 2nd Prize in the US-China Health Summit Contest China Final in Beijing. The 15 teams selected from more than 200 projects competed for 3 awards for the 1st Young Leadership Forum in Health to be held in US-China Health Summit next month in Harvard University, Boston.
